The museum’s holdings span almost the entire career of this important Northwest artist, now in his ninety-first year. The installation explores Mason’s varied career and how he continually reinvented himself over the decades. Viewers will come away with a new understanding of Alden Mason’s importance and the continuing relevance of his painting.
