Arts of Asia: Focus on China

Grades 2–12: 2-hour program (tour + art workshop)

Examine the different images and stories of people, animals and nature that abound in the visual art of China through in-gallery writing and discussion. This tour focuses on SAM's collection of Chinese objects and the special exhibition Wang Huaiqing (on view November 18, 2010–July 17, 2011).

Set your own pace through the Seattle Asian Art Museum by leading your class on a self-guided visit. We recommend exploring the museum’s online collection and contacting the Wyckoff Teacher Resource Center (TRC) prior to visiting.
