Sand Mandala Demonstration: Tibetan Monks of Gaden Shartse Monastery June 22–June 25, 2011 10 am–2 pm Fuller Garden Court

Six Tibetan monks from the Gaden Shartse Monastery in India will create the finely detailed Mandala of the Buddha of Compassion over 4 days, during Seattle Asian Art Museum public hours. A consecration and dissolution of the completed mandala will be held on Saturday, at 1 pm. Co-presented with Dechen Ling.
