SAM Talks
SOLD OUT Limited seats may become available on a first come, first served basis 10 minutes prior to the program start time when unclaimed reservations will be released. Join us for the next panel discussion in the Art & the Environment series, presented in close collaboration with the Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs and the University of Washington College of Built Environments. In anticipation of SAM's upcoming exhibition Elles: Women Artists from the Centre Pompidou, Paris, the conversation will focus on women in cities. Panelists will discuss how contemporary artists, landscape architects, urban planners, geographers, and those involved in development and public policy are examining, imagining, and shaping cities and women's lives in them. They will also consider the responsibilities and futures of their own vocations and why it is so critical that women contribute to urban spaces. Moderator
