Member Preview: Seeing Nature

All SAM members are invited to a preview of Seeing Nature: Landscape Masterworks from the Paul G. Allen Family Collection. This exhibit features 39 historically significant European and American landscape paintings from the past four hundred years. These diverse works offer a unique opportunity for visitors to see the natural world through the eyes of great artists such as Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, J.M.W. Turner, Gustav Klimt, Georgia O’Keeffe, Edward Hopper, David Hockney, Gerhard Richter, and Ed Ruscha.

Learn about the exhibition from Chiyo Ishikawa, SAM’s Susan Brotman Deputy Director for Art Curator of European Painting & Sculpture. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Happy Hour

Brotman Forum
Toast to the opening of Seeing Nature with music and a cash bar with beer, wine, a specialty cocktail, and bites for purchase from Taste.

Guests of members are welcome and will be asked to pay full admission price unless using a Patron-level guest pass or higher.
