Join Barbara Brotherton, Curator of Native American Art, for a free lecture as she discusses the upcoming exhibition Double Exposure: Edward S. Curtis, Marianne Nicolson, Tracy Rector, Will Wilson.

150 years after Edward S. Curtis' birth, his haunting portraits of Native Americans have an indelible place in the American consciousness. This major exhibition of more than 100 works by Curtis, as well as contemporary works by indigenous artists Marianne Nicolson, Tracy Rector, and Will Wilson seeks to evaluate this photographic legacy from 21st-century perspectives.

Admission to SAM's collection galleries is free to adults over the age of 65 on the First Friday of every month.
