Jan 18 2020

Seattle Art Museum

Third Floor Galleries

NOON – 12:30 PM

SAM honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a week of spotlight tours, focused on works that speak to themes of race and social justice. SAM staff, board members, volunteers, and community partners will facilitate conversations and offer personal responses based on artists and artworks currently on view in SAM’s galleries. Tours will be held daily January 15–20.

This tour will be led by Noelle Vasquez, SAM Admissions Volunteer Supervisor and new Equity Team Member. A native Seattle-ite, she spent the last two years studying Archaeology in London. She has helped lead two successful field excavations in Northern Ecuador. Noelle is also a former classical ballet teacher and an avid reader.

Free and open to the public.
