Seattle Art Museum
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Introduce your family to a variety of cultures and artistic traditions during a Virtual Family Fun Workshop. This art experience is designed to engage you and your child in an hour of learning and creating together.
Our fall series will feature three workshops of learning and creating together. Every workshop will include a close-looking at an artwork, interactive activities, and art making. A create crate full of all the supplies you’ll need for all three weeks will be mailed out the week before the workshop. Additionally, an activity sheet that recaps the workshop will be sent out after each workshop and will include additional ideas for learning.
The fall series will be offered on three consecutive Mondays. Participants will explore works of art on view at the Seattle Art Museum. These workshops are designed to provide an experience tailored to the needs of Young Artists (ages 6–8 yrs).
Seattle Art Museum acknowledges that we are on the traditional homelands of the Duwamish and the customary territories of the Suquamish and Muckleshoot Peoples. As a cultural and educational institution, we honor our ongoing connection to these communities past, present, and future. We also acknowledge the urban Native peoples from many Nations who call Seattle their home.
