SAM members are invited to celebrate the opening of Alberto Giacometti: Toward the Ultimate Figure on Member Preview Day!

Enter the mind of modernist sculptor Alberto Giacometti in his search for a new vision of the human form. Featuring more than 100 bronze portrait busts, towering statuettes, paintings, sketches, and prints, Alberto Giacometti: Toward the Ultimate Figure documents the iconic explorations and visionary achievements of this internationally celebrated artist of the postwar era. Co-organized by the Fondation Giacometti in Paris, this special exhibition marks Giacometti’s first exhibition in the Pacific Northwest and the only West Coast stop on its North American tour.

Reserve your free member tickets early for your preferred time slot! Timed tickets will be issued every 20 minutes from 10 am to 7 pm. All galleries, SAM Shop, and MARKET Seattle restaurant will be open. Stay tuned for more details on programming during the event.

Entry to the exhibition is free for members. Guests of members are welcome and will be asked to pay full admission price unless using a Patron-level guest pass or discount pass.
