DESCRIPTION:Originating in China and transformed in Japan\, the iconic Tea Culture of C
 hanoyu distills art\, hospitality\, and philosophy into an unprecedented an
 d unrepeatable moment of serenity and beauty. Experience Chanoyu in SAM's f
 inely crafted teahouse to discover how the medium of offering and receiving
  a bowl of tea provides a model for mindful living in a turbulent world.\nC
 hanoyu demonstrations are held on the second Saturday of every month from 3
 –4 pm and the third Saturday of every month from 2–3 pm. There are no demon
 strations in August\, December\, and January.\nDemonstrations are hosted by
  Seizankai\, a group of certified tea instructors representing various trad
 itions of Chanoyu.
