DESCRIPTION:Play\, picnic\, and create this summer at the Olympic Sculpture Park! SAM p
 resents an entire summer season packed full of programs that combine visual
  art\, music\, and community. All Summer at SAM programs are free\, public\
 , and suitable for all ages. There is no outside alcohol permitted in the O
 lympic Sculpture Park.\nOn Sunday mornings\, refresh and recharge with dayt
 ime movement classes\, community partner activities\, and guided tours of t
 he park’s world-renowned sculptures.\nYoga\n10–11 am\nReconnect with your b
 ody and mind after a busy week with a 60-minute vinyasa flow led by Take Ca
 re Yoga. Bring a mat\, water bottle\, and any other supplies you need for y
 our practice—all levels are welcome!\nCommunity Meetup\n11:30 am–1:30 pm\nL
 et's get reading! The bookworms of Silent Book Club Capitol Hill are teamin
 g up to provide a cozy space for sustained reading and community connection
  in the sculpture park.\nArt Activity &amp\; Environmental Engagement\n11 a
 m–3 pm\nWhat does it mean to belong? Join teaching artist Nina Vichayapal i
 n an exploration of ‘rootedness’ and belonging by creating original artwork
 s with seed paper that can be planted to grow into beautiful wildflowers.\n
 Become an expert on native plant species of the Pacific Northwest with memb
 ers of the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center. Together\, you’ll learn 
 how to find them\, identify them\, and use them in teas\, medicines\, and s
 alves.\nWhat makes intertidal zones so unique? Join naturalists from Seattl
 e Parks &amp\; Recreation on the sculpture park’s beach to get an up-close 
 look at our region’s intertidal ecology and create a tide pool book to take
  home.\nNW Folklife Pop-Up Concert\nNoon–1 pm\nDon and Diane Forsyth make u
 p the Snohomish-based roots band Blue Healers. With soul\, folk\, blues\, c
 ountry\, and interstellar influencers\, the duo will perform stripped down 
 originals and covers with grit.\nSAM Tours\n1:30–2:30 pm\nExplore the dynam
 ic history of the Olympic Sculpture Park with a 60-minute walking tour led 
 by a SAM docent. Tours meet outside PACCAR Pavilion and offer an up-close l
 ook at both the sculptures and ecosystems within the park.\nZumba®\n2–3 pm\
 nFusing Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow moves\, free Zumba® Latin dance-f
 itness classes are a great way to spend the afternoon. Tennis shoes and wat
 er bottle recommended. Class led by Daren Wade and Venessa Mackie.\nMARKET 
 at the Park will be serving coffee and menu items including short rib rolls
 \, crab rolls\, and mangonadas!
