My Favorite Things tours bring some of the most opinionated and fascinating artists, cultural producers, and community figures into the galleries to discuss their favorite works of art.
This week's tour will be led by SAM's Emerging Arts Leader Intern Cat Vallejo.
About the Speaker
Outside of working at SAM, Cat is a fourth-year student at the University of Washington Bothell. As a Community Psychology major with a minor in Education and Society, Cat aspires to be an educator for either high school or college students. Learning inside and outside the classroom has been such an important part of her personal growth, and she would love to share that same experience with others. Cat’s passion for learning, teaching, and connection with various kinds of art, such as music, painting, and especially dancing have brought her to where she is today at SAM.
