Experience a bilingual Diwali storytime with puppets in Hindi and English with Hindi Time Kids. The first 25 families will receive a Diwali goodie bag filled with a family-friendly art activity to enjoy at home. Ideal for adults and caregivers with children ages 2-5.

Enjoy live musical performances and explore artistic and cultural traditions of India presented by Junior Asha Seattle.
12-2 pm
Get a taste of India with a warm cup of chai from Jaipur Avenue Chai while receiving a temporary henna tattoo design.
Participate in a community mural painting with local artist
Deepti Agrawal and let your creativity shine by decorating your own clay diya (lamp)!
Go on a scavenger hunt with your family and explore the cultural corners of India then strike a pose in a Diwali-themed Polaroid photo booth with Junior Asha Seattle.

Participate in a Bhangra dance workshop with Rhythms of India. Ideal for families with children of all ages.
While food, drinks, and large backpacks are not permitted in the galleries, we encourage all families to bring personal snacks and beverages to enjoy all throughout the lower-level lobby. All personal belongings can be stored in the self-serve lockers on a first-come, first-served basis.
