SAM offers discounts on memberships for a wide range of individuals—from students, seniors, and educators, to alumni from select universities and employees of SAM corporate members.
Membership Levels

Student
$45/year
Available to full-time students with current student ID. University email address is required.

Educator
15% off membership at the Individual through Family levels. Proof of current employment as an educator required.
SAM Corporate member employee
15% off new memberships at the Individual through Patron levels for employees of our corporate partners. Proof of employment required.
UW Alumni Association
15% off new memberships at the Individual through Patron levels. Current alumni ID card required.
WSU Alumni Association
15% off new memberships at the Individual through Patron levels. Current alumni ID card required.
WWU Alumni Association
15% off new memberships at the Individual through Patron levels. Current alumni ID card required.
SAM Volunteer Discount
15% off membership at the Individual through Family levels. Proof of active volunteer status required.
Military Discount
15% off memberships at the Individual through Patron levels. Active duty military ID required.
Discounts cannot be applied to already discounted membership levels. Only one discount can be applied per membership.
