The Seattle Art Museum strives to represent our local community and contemporary voices that are underrepresented in the art world. Two ongoing artist opportunities are offered for artists to receive cash prizes and a solo exhibition at the Seattle Art Museum: the annual Betty Bowen Award and the bi-annual Gwendolyn Knight and Jacob Lawrence Prize.
