Stroll along the Olympic Sculpture Park Pocket Beach during low tide and you’ll see that the shore is alive!
Drop in to the Aquarium’s Beach Naturalist program to learn about and enjoy our vibrant shorelines. Beach naturalists are local experts on the marine environment who teach us how to explore shorelines while keeping animals and their homes safe. They might also share what sea stars eat, explain why barnacles stand on their heads, describe how moon snails lay their eggs, and so much more.
The time of this event changes with the tides! To meet a beach naturalist during the lowest tides at the Olympic Sculpture Park Pocket Beach, check out the schedule.
