SAM Video: An interview with Enrico David
Enrico David is known for work that crosses boundaries into performance and theater as well as more traditional visual arts media such as painting, drawing, photography and sculpture. Titled Bulbous Marauder, his installation transforms the SAM Next gallery into a moody and anachronistic space where ideas of isolation, loneliness, alienation and nostalgia are evoked through handmade posters, wallpaper and specially fabricated lamps. Davidâs installation at SAM is his first solo exhibition in the United States. His work Wayne Shire entered the SAM collection in 2006.
