The Olympic Sculpture Parkâs innovative design achieves a wide range of environmental restoration goals, including brownfield redevelopment, salmon habitat restoration, extensive use of native plantings, and the capture and use of rainwater.
The parkâs Z-shaped configuration connects three parcels into four distinct landscapes that reflect the native ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest. These landscapes provide settings for art and reintroduce habitat complexity, which creates microclimates and offers more diversity for plant and animal life.
