Call your friends and bring the family, admission is FREE to everyone at the Seattle Art Museum on the first Thursday of every month.
In addition to our regular hours, Seattle Art Museum will be open for Free First Thursday evenings from 5â8 pm to provide more opportunities to visit the galleries for free! Evening hours will feature extra activities like live music, drop-in art making, a cash bar with snacks and drinks, and in-gallery experiences for visitors.
Tickets are available both onsite and online.

These 60-minute tours meet at the top of the 3rd floor escalators.
5â8 pm | Classical Guitar Performance by Reyes GonzĂĄlez

Reyes González is a Los Angeles native who currently lives, teaches and performs in the Seattle, WA area. A classically trained guitarist and musician, Reyes earned a Bachelor's degree in Music (with classical guitar studies) at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He has extensive solo and ensemble performance experience over the last 20 years, and he has taught professionally for the last 10 years. Find him in the SAM galleries!

Use watercolor techniques for landscape painting to create your own nature-inspired bookmark. Take inspiration from the many PNW landscapes in SAMâs collection!
Laura Baly is a Seattle-based multi-disciplinary artist, educator, surface designer, and illustrator. Her expansive practice includes painting with traditional media, digital art, surface design, and mural installations.
