Renowned international artist Ai Weiwei visits Seattle to celebrate Ai, Rebel: The Art and Activism of Ai Weiwei at the Seattle Art Museum, his largest-ever US exhibition and first-ever in the Northwest.
SAM members get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to hear the artist in conversation with SAM's Foster Foundation Curator of Chinese Art, FOONG Ping, at Town Hall Seattle on March 9. Doors at Town Hall open at 6 pm, and the talk begins at 7 pm. Seating is first-come, first-served.
Tickets go on sale the morning of February 3 and are $25, limit two per membership. This talk is expected to sell out quickly, but the recording will be available on the SAM members-only YouTube channel following the event.
