Experience Chanoyu in the Seattle Art Museum's finely crafted teahouse and discover how the medium of offering and receiving a bowl of tea provides a model for mindful living in a turbulent world.

What to know

Demonstrations take place

  • Second Saturday of every month from 3–4 pm
  • Third Saturday of every month from 2–3 pm

Access is included with admission.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

No tea will be served to the audience.

There are no demonstrations in August, December, and January.
