It’s no easy feat maintaining the museum’s collection of nearly 25,000 objects but, year after year, SAM’s dedicated team of conservators manages to get it done. Join SAM’s conservation specialists for the newest member-exclusive lecture series, Up Close with Conservators. Over the course of three monthly lectures, you will gain insight into the challenges, importance, and outcomes of art conservation. You won’t want to miss out on this amazing opportunity to learn from our experts! What to know

This program is exclusively for SAM members.

Talks take place every last Wednesday from September to November.

Doors open at 6 pm for a short reception in the SAM's South Hall (with a free glass of wine!).

6:30–7:30 pm the lecture will take place in SAM's Plestcheeff Auditorium.

$8 single lecture ticket  / $15 guests of members
