In addition to our regular hours, Seattle Art Museum will be open for Free First Thursday evenings from 5â8 pm to provide more opportunities to visit the galleries for free! Evening hours will feature extra activities like live music, drop-in art making, and in-gallery experiences for visitors.

Faridaguyzzz sets are not just performances; they are immersive experiences designed to make everyone feel as liberated and ecstatic as she does while spinning her tracks.

Danielle Hayden is a multi-genre writer-in-residence at the Seattle Public Library and a teaching artist with Writers in the Schools. She also serves as Director of Golf Pencil Group, a creative writing program for incarcerated women and for people in transitional housing. Her work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, The Seattle Times, Seattle Magazine, and other outlets and anthologies.

Akoth Ombaka (they/he) brings over a decade of experience working with non-profits. At the heart of Akothâs work is a guiding ethos: "Until all of us are free, none of us are free." Beyond their professional work, Akoth is deeply rooted in advocacy within Black, Queer, and Trans mutual aid collectives, including Queer The Land, the Trans & Queer Mutual Aid Collective in Kenya, and the Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant Project. Come ready to explore how close observation can spark transformative conversations about art and community!
