SAM’s fundraising events are a fun and engaging way to support the museum. Every year, your participation in Fundraising Celebrations makes it possible to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to support SAM’s artistic, operational, and community engagement programs.
Events bring together food, music, and dancing to celebrate cultural connections created through SAM’s global art collection. Annual events include Diwali Ball and Party in the Park.
Diwali Ball is a festive evening that brings India’s festival of lights to SAM with Bollywood grooves, dance performances, henna, fortune tellers, Indian tapas, exhibition tours, and many more Diwali surprises.
Party in the Park combines the hottest chefs in the Pacific Northwest and the stars of our local art scene. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Olympic Sculpture Park, you’ll enjoy craft cocktails, dance to renowned musical acts, a delectable dinner at a table decked out in art, and a dessert buffet!
