SAM members enjoy exclusive access to the highly anticipated Ai, Rebel: The Art and Activism of Ai Weiwei exhibition on select Mondays, when SAM is not open to the public. These special viewings give members an opportunity to enjoy the art of Ai Weiwei with smaller crowds and include programming like docent-led tours and more!

Member Mondays will be offered on April 7, May 5, August 4, and August 25 in 2025.

Due to the popularity of this exhibition, SAM will be offering timed tickets. Be sure to sign up early to secure your preferred time.

Docent tours take place at 3 pm and 6 pm inside the Ai Rebel exhibition. To attend a tour, reserve your ticket for a time on or just before the tour begins. Ticket holders for a later time slot cannot enter early, and re-entry is not permitted. If you can't make those times, don't worry—more tours will be offered at future Member Mondays.
