This 60-minute guided tour of Following Space: Thaddeus Mosely and Alexander Calder traces the careers of two iconic American artists with different approaches to sculpting through space. Take a close look at a handful of objects from the exhibition's seventeen sculptures by Mosley, made between 2001 and 2024, and five works by Calder, chosen in consultation with Mosley and made between 1936 and 1956. Learn how these two artists, in vitally different ways, create a heightened awareness of forms and instill the anticipation of change.
Tours meet at the entry to the third floor double height galleries.
