SAM Gallery welcomes the energy of the spring with Rising in April.
Artists Stephen Rock and Laura Van Horne create upward motion and movement using abstract imagery rooted in organic inspiration. Combining digital and traditional mediums, Stephen Rock uses abstract elements of the land to bring to life the energy of growth and renewal, while artist Laura Van Horne experiments with an elixir of inks, pigments, and paints in her collection of gemstone geodes that appear to rise from the earth.
